KINDERGARTEN

RSA Kindergarten Program (5 – 6 years)
Throughout the academic year, children are taught practical life lessons, language arts, mathematics, natural sciences and Arabic. Children discover their environment through independent work exercises, while being guided by their classroom teachers. Kindergarten students are trained to understand sentence structures, read and write all the letters of the English alphabet, write sentences and identify rhyming words. Children also learn math with the ability to write and read numerical numbers and learn how to explain math concepts. At this age, children learn to take responsibility for themselves by developing individual life learning skills and team work skills, helping them become more social and interactive, such as taking turns, waiting to be called on by the teacher, and being kind to each other. Moreover, teachers focus on teaching children Islamic values and manners, memorizing Quran and learning Arabic language.
